Vulnerable Road Users Program (VRUP) is designed to provide new drivers with a greater insight, awareness and respect for our vulnerable road users and reduce any risk and harm.
Motorcyclists, e-scooters, e-skateboards, cyclists and pedestrians, are vulnerable road users and they do not benefit from the level of crash protection that a vehicle has and are at a higher risk of being injured or killed in a road crash.
To complete this course, participants must have held an ACT learner’s licence for a minimum of 3 months and MUST complete a 1-hour workbook prior to attending the course.
This program is in two parts and should take no longer than 3 hours to complete.
The Vulnerable Road Users Program is designed to be interactive and engaging. It is required that learners complete the pre-workbook before the start of the online workshop, bring a pen to take notes and willingness to participate in the discussions.Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive 10 hours towards their required 100 logbook hours.
Cost of the program is $70.00 (plus a $3.50 booking fee)
